Manager, Hammers and Powerpacks

We’re looking for an experienced and forward thinking Manager for our Hydraulic Hammers, Vibratory Hammers & Powerpacks team. This role suits someone who understands the demands of heavy-duty mechanical equipment and can lead a team responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting hydraulic hammers, vibratory hammers, powerpacks, and related systems. You’ll guide a talented engineering group and ensure our solutions remain reliable, innovative, and competitive in the field.

Job Description

  • Lead the engineering team responsible for hydraulic hammers, vibratory hammers, and powerpacks

  • Serve as the Head Engineer for Vibratory Hammers, providing technical direction, design leadership, and deep subject‑matter expertise

  • Oversee product development from concept through design, testing, and release

  • Drive improvements in performance, durability, efficiency, and manufacturability

  • Collaborate closely with production, sourcing, quality, and product management

  • Manage project timelines, resource planning, and technical decision‑making

  • Provide technical support to customer-facing teams when needed

  • Contribute to long-term product roadmaps and innovation initiatives

Applicant’s profile

List the skills and competences needed from the applicant

·         Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

·         Strong background in hydraulic systems, vibratory equipment, heavy machinery, or similar mechanical products

·         Proven leadership experience with a passion for developing engineering talent

·         Solid understanding of CAD tools, simulation methods, and validation processes

·         Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken

·         Willingness to travel internationally when required

·         A structured, analytical mindset paired with practical problem solving skills

·         Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
